To continue as a real estate professional,  you are required to complete 14-hours of continuing education. We make this as convenient as possible by offering the choice 
of a classroom course, home study program or by the internet. In addition to completing
the state requirements, the course is designed to help you be more efficient and 
successful in your real estate career.

This course is for real estate sales associates and brokers only.
It is not intended for mortgage brokers.

What is the license renewal period?
The license renewal period is 2 years.

Are there continuing education requirements to keep my license?
Your license must be renewed every 2 years by completing fourteen hours of continuing education. You can maintain an active or voluntary inactive license for life.

What can I do with a real estate sales associates license?
You can be involved in the listing and selling of residential, commercial, industrial property, land, business opportunities, and time-shares. You can also rent and manage real property.

What are the requirements for getting a real estate broker license?
You must have held an active real estate sales associates license for at least twelve months within the past 5 years. You must take and pass the Florida real estate broker course and take and pass the Florida real estate broker state examination.

What can I do with a real estate broker license?
As a broker, you can be the owner or part owner of a real estate brokerage company. Sales associates would place their licenses with your company. Or, you may work for a broker, as a broker-sales associate.
