Before 
making your reservation:

You must be authorized by the Florida Division of Real Estate PRIOR to registering for an examination. 
Once your application has been approved by the Division, Pearson VUE will be notified. Pearson VUE will then 
send you an official authorization letter. Once you receive this information you are eligible to make an examination reservation.
- Note: The State of Florida has started posting student's eligibility on their website.
             When they post your name as eligible you may call Pearson VUE and schedule an appointment.

Testing Reservation Procedures:

Reservations may be made by telephone:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET 
Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET
Locations of testing facilities located in most major cities.

TO MAKE A RESERVATION TO TEST, CALL Pearson VUE TOLL-FREE AT 1-888-204-6289.
Fax reservations may be made 24 hours a day by faxing a Pearson VUE Fax Reservation form to 
1-888-274-8920. This must be done at least four business days prior to the requested exam date.

Check your State Application Status

NOTE: RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE MADE UNTIL Pearson VUE HAS RECEIVED THE AUTHORIZATION FILE  FROM THE DIVISION. Candidates will be given the address and specific directions to the test center they have selected. All candidates will also receive a confirmation notice containing the test center address and directions along with information on what to bring to the examination.

Deadlines: Fax deadline: At least four (4) business days before an examination

Credit cards may be used for payment when you call to register for an examination.
Credit cards can only be accepted at time of reservation. 
If you do not use a credit card when you call to register, then payment will be due at the test center. 
Your payment must be payable to "Pearson VUE, Inc." and be in the form of a money order, certified 
check, or cashier’s check. Unacceptable forms of payment include personal checks and cash. 
Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What to 
bring with 
you to the  
Test Center:

Two forms of signature identification, one of which must be photo-bearing and examination fee.
This does not apply if credit card number was submitted at time of reservation.
Certificate of pre-licensing education completion, if not submitted with your application to the Florida Division of Real Estate. Your confirmation number (you will be given this number when you make your 
testing reservation) and authorization letter.

Exam failure
rules:

If you fail an exam and wish to retake it, you must wait 24 hours to reschedule.

EXPro  Absences / Refunds:

You may cancel or change an EXPro reservation without penalty up to four (4) business days before the scheduled exam. If you are absent or attempt to reschedule fewer than four (4) business days before a 
scheduled exam, you will owe Pearson VUE the full examination fee. Provisions are made for excused 
absences in cases of illness, death in the family, etc.
