Review Course is offered at a cost of $95.
State exam review classes are held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Broker material is covered Friday, Sales Associate material is covered Saturday and Sunday. Please note: 4060% of the state exam questions are based on Sales Associate material.
Registration Procedures
A deposit of $45.00 will secure your place in class. You may register by phone with a credit card or mail your deposit to the administration office.
The balance of the course price is due on the 1st day of class.

What are the requirements to acquire a Florida real estate broker license?
- Held an active Sales Associate license for at least 24 months out of the past 5 years.
- Complete a 72-hour broker license course and pass a 100-question multiple choice end-of-course exam.
- Pass the 100-question multiple choice real estate broker state exam.
- Completed 45-hour Post-Licensing education as a Sales Associate.
How do I submit my application?
The application may be sent in before, during or after the course.
- To submit your
application online you should visit the Department of Business and
Professional Regulation (DBPR) website.
Afterwards, you should
schedule an appointment for electronic fingerprinting with Pearson VUE.
- If you wish to submit your application by mail you should
download and print it from the DBPR website.
It will take 6-8 weeks on average for the state to process and approve your
application.

What are the fees for the license,
fingerprinting and exam?
- The state application fee is $115.00
- The Pearson VUE fingerprinting fee is $57.25
- The Pearson VUE exam fee is $31.50
How is the test administered?
There will be multiple locations
in major metropolitan areas. Exams will be given
by the state test vendor Pearson VUE
on computer touch screens.
How long after taking the state exam will I be notified of passing?
Candidates will receive grades immediately at the test location
What is the license renewal period? And are there continuing education requirements?
60-hours of post-licensing education is required during the first renewal period (18-24 months after passing the state exam). Subsequently your license must be renewed every 2
years completing 14 hours of continuing education. You can maintain an active or voluntary
inactive license for life.
What can I do with a real estate broker license?
As a broker, you can be the owner or part owner of a real estate brokerage company which may be involved in the listing and selling of residential, commercial, industrial property, land, business opportunities, time-shares and property management. Or, you may continue to work for a broker, as a broker-sales
associate.

Policies
- The end-of-course examination cannot be given to any student who has absences of more than 8 classroom hours. It is important that you check with your instructor, or the administration office if you miss more than 8 classroom hours.
- You may apply for a refund prior to the 3rd hour of class. A full refund of the fees paid (less the cost of materials issued by the school) will be provided if a written request is received within one year of the start date of the original class.
