If you do not pass the final exam on your first attempt, you will be given a link to a second final exam. The second exam cannot be taken until thirty days after the first exam.
License Renewal Process
To renew your license, the state requires proof of your education completion, and you must pay a renewal fee:
Your completion dates are the dates that you pass the end-of-course exams. To be considered on-time, courses must be complete at or before 11:59pm EST the day of the renewal deadline.
Once you have completed each course, we will automatically submit your information to the state electronically.
Depending on the information you have provided, we will attempt to fax and email your completion slips to you. We also put completion slips and diplomas in the regular mail. Please keep these documents for your records.
You will be asked for your User ID and PIN. Your User ID can be found by searching with your license number. If you have not already changed your PIN, it may be the last four digits of your social security number.
DBPR (850) 487-1395
If you have your renewal notice from the state, you can return it with a payment.
For more details, please call us at (727) 526-5338 or (800) 330-9411 or email us.
The end-of-course exam cannot be given to any student who has absences of more than 3 classroom hours per course. It is important that you check with your instructor, or the administration office, if you miss more than 3 classroom hours per course.
You may apply for a refund prior to the 3rd hour of class. A full refund of the fees paid, (less the cost of materials issued by the school), will be provided if written request is received within six months of the start date of the original class.
Materials or texts returned for refund must be in new condition and currently in classroom use. No outdated materials will be eligible for refund.
