- Registration Procedures:
A deposit of $45.00 will secure your place in class. The balance is due on the 1st day of class. You may register by phone with a credit card or mail your deposit to the administration office.

- How do I apply for the state exam?
- You can apply online at the Department of Financial Services website. You will also want to view the DFS application information.
- What is the cost to apply for the state exam?
- $242.50 (This includes your first license.)
- What is the cost to retake the state exam?
- There is no charge, provided you pass the exam within the 90 day period stamped on the examination form. Typically, this means 2 attempts. If you do not take or pass the state exam within this 90 day period, a new application must be submitted with another $242.50.
- When and where is the state exam given?
- The exam is given in Clearwater, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Tallahassee. It is typically held on the fourth Tuesday of the month. A current list of testing locations can be found on the state's testing information document
- How long after taking the state exam will I be notified of passing?
- Official results will be sent by mail approximately 5 days after your exam.
- I received a letter from the department stating I haven't completed my education for the license even though I took your course, why is that?
- We submit the education results to DFS before seventy-two (72) hours after the course finishes. DFS policy is to process the application with the background check. The background check takes longer than the application and submission of education results. Until the background check is completed and all documents are processed together, DFS will automatically send out letters of deficiency. DFS reports to us not to worry about the education requirement so long as you have completed the (24) hours in the classroom.
- How long after passing the state exam will I receive my license?
- Your license will be sent by mail approximately 30 days after passing the state exam and providing your course completion certificate.
- What is the renewal period?
- Your mortgage broker license must be renewed every 2 years. The renewal period begins September 1st of odd numbered years.
- What is the cost to renew the License?
- The cost to renew is $150.00.

- Policies
- The completion certificate cannot be given to any student who has any absences. It is important that you check with your instructor or the administration office, if you miss any classroom hours.
- You may apply for a refund prior to the 3rd hour of classroom attendance. A full refund of the fees paid (less the cost of materials issued by the school) will be provided if written request is received within one year of the start date of the original class.
